KJK is pleased to announce that Managing Partner Jon Pinney has been elected to serve as Destination Cleveland’s new Chair of its Board of Directors. He was officially introduced at the organization’s annual meeting Monday by Destination Cleveland President and CEO, David Gilbert. Pinney previously served as Vice Chair and Treasurer.
“I’m thrilled for the opportunity to continue building upon the success of Destination Cleveland and the leadership that has come before me, and look forward to positioning the organization to have a continued positive effect on the community,” said Pinney.
A committed civic leader, Pinney has worked on several major public-private projects. In 2014, he authored the winning 345-page bid to host the 2016 Republican National Convention and served as the General Counsel, Secretary and Treasurer for the Host Committee. That civic spirit extends into his numerous board leadership roles and relentless drive to move Northeast Ohio forward.
