KJK is pleased to announce that Partner Carly Boyd has been named to the Cleveland Bridge Builders Class of 2025. This esteemed civic leadership development program, offered by the Cleveland Leadership Center, brings together outstanding mid-career professionals from the nonprofit, corporate, civic and public sectors. Through the 10-month program, Carly will work collaboratively and in small groups with her fellow Bridge Builders classmates to hone leadership and communication skills and complete a Leadership Action Project geared toward civic improvement.
As part of KJK’s Family Law practice group, Carly is a skilled domestic relations attorney. She has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® Ones to Watch Family Law Edition for both 2023 and 2024. Additionally, Carly has been recognized in the Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star edition for 2023 and 2024. Carly is a member of the Chagrin Valley Chamber of Commerce and an Associate Board Member for Providence House, a crisis nursery committed to child abuse prevention and family preservation in the Cleveland area.
Outside of the office, Carly enjoys spending time with her dog, Clancy. The two of them can often be found exploring the trails in the Cleveland Metroparks or socializing at local dog-friendly venues. Additionally, she is an unwavering LGBTQ+ ally and a former member of PFLAG. Carly is both an avid runner and swimmer and has competed in several Northeast Ohio triathlons; she credits her competitive nature for her success both inside and outside of the courtroom.
