Hot Topics in Health Care: KJK Partner Kate Hickner to Address 2018 Health Care Summit

On Friday, October 24, KJK Partner Kate Hickner will address attendees of the Ohio Society of CPAs’ 2018 Health Care Summit. She’ll join a slate of distinguished speakers for this event live in Columbus, Ohio, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or online via webcast. Kate is a Partner in KJK’s Healthcare Practice Group.

Kate’s session, titled “Hot Topics in Health Care: Regulatory, Technological and other Disruptions and How to Respond,” will include the following topics:

  • Discuss state and federal health care regulatory developments impacting physicians, hospitals and other providers
  • Explore technological developments and other key advances and related challenges affecting the health care industry
  • Review the importance of data privacy and security for any business in or involved with the health care industry
  • Understand practical strategies for mitigating risk associated with such developments
