How #MeToo and Title IX Have Changed Campus Culture: KJK’s Stone and Supler Present Sept. 12 Webinar

KJK
August 20, 2018

The #MeToo movement has made a profound impact on the way colleges and universities are responding to allegations of sexual misconduct on campus. In a Sept. 12 webinar, sponsored by Meritas, KJK Partners Susan Stone and Kristina Supler will discuss how sexual misconduct cases on college campuses have been affected by #MeToo and the reactions from accused individuals for more due process.

Susan and Kristina will discuss current Office for Civil Rights guidance, recent changes in case law that push back on past guidance and what we predict OCR will change in the coming months. Susan and Kristina co-chair KJK’s Student & Athlete Defense Practice Group, and serve clients nationally in Title IX proceedings, campus sexual misconduct and other student and faculty disciplinary matters.

This one-hour webinar is free and open to non-Meritas members. It will be held Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 1:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time. Click here to register.
