Business of Art: KJK’s Preskar discusses art-centric entrepreneurship June 11

Fledgling businesses and entrepreneurs can get the advice they need to take flight at Wild Goose Creative’s Business of Art speaker series. Business of Art is a free monthly panel discussion series designed to encourage art-centric entrepreneurship and provide a place for creative network building.

On June 11 at 6pm, KJK associate and Wild Goose advisory board member Alexis Preskar will present “Cover Your Assets: Legal Concerns for Artists and Small Businesses.”

Alexis will cover what artists need to know as they look to start up and scale up:

• protecting intellectual property;
• starting a business;
• hiring employees or having a side hustle while still employed;
• reviewing contracts; and
• estate planning, especially as it relates to IP.
