KJK is pleased to announce that Criminal, Cyber & White Collar Partner Kristina Supler has been sworn in as Parliamentarian of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), a professional bar association dedicated to advancing the mission of the nation’s criminal defense lawyers to ensure justice and due process for those accused of crime or other misconduct.
Throughout her career, Kristina has worked on a wide variety of criminal cases at both the state and federal level, with a particular focus on technology and internet-based offenses. Kristina’s experience has also been enlisted for complex matters including government procurement fraud, public corruption, bank fraud and tax issues. She has led national defense teams representing individuals involved in high-stakes litigation. As a Partner in KJK’s Student & Athlete Defense Group, Kristina also has extensive experience representing students facing Title IX investigations and academic disciplinary proceedings.
Kristina has been an active member of NACDL since 2006, serving on The Champion Advisory Board, White Collar Crime Committee, and Indigent Defense Committee. She is also very involved in the Amicus Committee as a Sixth Circuit Vice-Chair. Kristina has also served on NACDL’s Board of Directors since 2013.
In addition to her years of service with NACDL, Kristina has also long been committed to the legal community in her home state of Ohio. As a member of the Cleveland-Marshall Law Alumni Association Board of Trustees, Kristina mentors first-year law students. She has also volunteered with the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s 3Rs (Rights, Responsibilities and Realities) Program, which connects lawyers with underprivileged high school students as they prepare to complete the Ohio Graduation Test. Kristina has been selected multiple times to the Ohio Rising Stars list.
Kristina holds a bachelor’s degree in European history from Boston University, and received her J.D. from Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
