Kohrman Jackson & Krantz LLP is pleased to announce that Max Kohrman, Founding Partner of KJK predecessor firm Kohrman & Kohrman and father of KJK Partner Emeritus S. Lee Kohrman, has been selected by Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law as a 2020 Hall of Fame honoree.
Kohrman graduated in 1918 from the Cleveland Law School of Baldwin-Wallace College, a predecessor to Cleveland-Marshall College of Law when the school merged with the John Marshall School of Law. Following graduation, he partnered with his brother Joseph Kohrman to establish Kohrman & Kohrman during the final months of World War I in 1918. The firm focused on serving the local small businesses of Cleveland’s Central neighborhood.
Kohrman will be honored at the 2020 Hall of Fame celebration at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, November 6. According to the school, the event will most likely be held off-campus or virtually due to ongoing public health concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
