Lee is one of KJK’s Partner Emeritus, having joined the firm in 1955 after its founding by his father in 1918. From the earliest days of his career, Lee has focused his legal practice on helping entrepreneurs in Northeast Ohio and throughout the country start and grow their companies. His counsel has dealt not just with matters of the law, but also with business strategies to drive their success. His practice has also included family asset planning and philanthropic organization development and operations.

Today, Lee is a civic leader actively engaged in philanthropy and volunteerism for such organizations as University Circle, Inc., the Musical Arts Association, the David & Inez Myers Foundation and the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland. He is an avid world traveler who has collected art from around the world, much of which is displayed in KJK’s Cleveland headquarters.

“From our earliest years, KJK has always been a firm of attorneys who are good listeners and advisors to our clients. Our counsel is just as much about making good business decisions as it is about the law.” – S. Lee Kohrman
