KJK’s Amanda Lauer Named to Cleveland Bridge Builders Class of 2020

Amanda LauerKJK is pleased to announce that Associate Amanda Lauer has been named to the 2020 class of Cleveland Bridge Builders, a civic leadership development program of the Cleveland Leadership Center that brings together outstanding mid-career professionals from the nonprofit, corporate, civic and public sectors. Through the 10-month program, Amanda will work collaboratively and in small groups with her fellow Bridge Builders classmates to hone leadership and communication skills, and complete a Leadership Action Project geared toward civic improvement.

As part of KJK’s Real Estate Practice Group, Amanda focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate. She independently manages many of the transactions that she works on at KJK from start to finish. Amanda is skilled at negotiating and drafting numerous types of real estate documents, including leases, license agreements, purchase and sale agreements, SNDAs and finance documents. She is also experienced in corporate law, including the formation of business entities, structuring of operating agreements and the drafting and negotiation of asset purchase agreements. Furthermore, Amanda excels at identifying and resolving issues that arise during real estate transactions, including issues such as environmental contamination, title defects, site-specific studies, wetlands and survey issues.

Amanda is civically involved as a volunteer for Multiple Breed Rescue and Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, and a volunteer and mentor for College Now Greater Cleveland. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kent State University and a J.D. from University of Akron School of Law.
