KJK is pleased to welcome Bryan Bixler and TJ Hunt to the firm as part of our 2022 summer associate program. Both highly accomplished law students are expected to graduate in May of 2023.

Each year, KJK selects summer associates who reflect the firm’s values and objectives while also scoring high marks academically. Our summer associate program is an essential component of KJK’s hiring process, as the projects assigned throughout the program will reflect the type of work that a new attorney would perform as a first or second-year associate at our firm.

Bryan Bixler obtained his Bachelor of Science degree with a criminology major and a pre-law minor from The University of Akron, where he graduated magna cum laude. Bryan is scheduled to receive his Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law. Earlier this month, Bryan co-authored an article with KJK’s Litigation Practice Chair, Brett Krantz, which was later featured on Court News Ohio’s news roundup.

TJ Hunt received his Bachelor of Arts with a major in political science and a dual minor in business legal studies and management and leadership from Miami University. TJ is currently a Juris Doctorate candidate at Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Approaching his final year of law school, TJ serves as the Chief Managing Editor for the Cleveland State Law review and the Vice President of the Entertainment and Sports Law Association.

Our summer program is a unique opportunity for the right student, not only to learn from the inside out about our varied and challenging legal practices, but to forge what we hope will be a rewarding and long-lived relationship.
