KJK is pleased to announce that Managing Partner Jon Pinney has again been named to Cleveland Magazine’s 2026 Cleveland 500 list. The Cleveland 500 honors leaders in Northeast Ohio who pair vision and adaptability with a genuine commitment to strengthening the people and communities around them.
The recognition speaks as much to Pinney’s work outside the firm as within it. He recently concluded a distinguished tenure as Chair of the Destination Cleveland Board of Directors, capping nearly a decade of service during which the city hosted marquee national events including the 2022 NBA All-Star Game and the 2024 NCAA Women’s Final Four. He also authored the winning 345-page bid that brought the 2016 Republican National Convention to Cleveland and served as General Counsel, Secretary and Treasurer of the Host Committee.
Pinney’s commitment to the region extends beyond civic leadership to direct investment in its future. As Managing Partner of TurnDev, a Cleveland-area real estate development firm, he is helping drive the revitalization of downtown Cleveland, most notably in the Superior Arts District, where TurnDev has assembled more than 800,000 square feet of real estate. The firm’s work in the district includes the restoration of the historic Artcraft Building as the new headquarters of the Cleveland Division of Police, along with warehouse-to-apartment conversions that are bringing new residents and energy to the east side of downtown. TurnDev also serves as development manager for the transformation of Erieview Tower into apartments and a W Hotel.
