KJK is proud to announce that Managing Partner Jon Pinney has again been named to the Crain’s Cleveland “Power 150” list. Featuring CEOs, entrepreneurs, politicians, philanthropists and others, the prestigious list provides a snapshot of those who lead some of Northeast Ohio’s most influential organizations and are in a position to move the region forward. Jon was previously included in both the 2017 and 2020 version.

As KJK’s Managing Partner, Jon leads the firm’s experienced team of attorneys and staff in serving a wide array of clients including privately held businesses, entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations and high net-worth families. A committed civic leader, Jon has worked on several major public-private projects. He spent ten years attempting to secure a national political convention and worked tirelessly on the prior unsuccessful bids in 2008 and 2012. In 2014, he authored the winning 345-page bid to ultimately host the 2016 Republican National Convention and served as the General Counsel, Secretary and Treasurer for the Host Committee. That civic spirit extends into his numerous board leadership roles and relentless drive to move Northeast Ohio forward.

According to Crain’s, there were no specific criteria used in selecting those on the “Power 150,” list, nor were they chosen through a nomination process. Rather, the editorial staff collectively gathered names, taking into consideration each person’s role in Northeast Ohio and that of their organization.
