KJK is pleased to announce the addition of Partner Nathan Studeny to the firm’s Litigation & Arbitration, Real Estate & Environmental and eCommerce practice groups.

With nearly two decades of litigation experience, Nathan has built a practice that focuses on matters involving products liability, environmental and toxic injuries, commercial litigation and negligence cases in both state and federal courts. He has successfully represented a wide array of businesses in the automotive, energy and manufacturing industries. Nathan works extensively with clients to solve problems and disputes involving product defects, toxic exposures, premises claims, employer intentional conduct claims and warranty claims.

Nathan obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in political science from Miami University. In conjunction with his academics, Nathan was also a student-athlete for the University’s wrestling program in addition to serving as both an editor and reporter for The High Street Journal. While in undergrad, Nathan’s own personal experiences inspired him to pursue a legal career. Post-graduation, he enrolled in the Juris Doctorate program at Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude. Nathan served as both the Associate Editor and Executive Editor for the Cleveland State Law Review.

Nathan is a member of the Defense Research Institute, an organization of attorneys who work to defend the interests of businesses and individuals in civil litigation. Additionally, he is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, as well as the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.

Outside of the office, Nathan is a devoted husband to his wife, Jessica, and a proud father to twin boys. In his free time, he finds joy in helping his children pursue one of their various aspirations, be it music, art or athletics. Leading by example, Nathan volunteers as the Assistant Football Coach for a local football association and takes pleasure in practicing his musical talents as both an amateur guitarist and saxophone player. He also enjoys traveling, exploring the City of Cleveland and trying new foods, crediting his Romanian roots for his love of anything containing garlic.
