OVERVIEW & EXPERIENCE
Isra Ghanem is an associate in the Litigation & Arbitration practice group. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and International Relations from Cleveland State University, where she graduated summa cum laude.
Isra pursued a legal career driven by her passion for advocacy and desire to address injustices. She was particularly motivated to become a lawyer to advocate on behalf of people of color and immigrants, drawing inspiration from her parents’ experiences as Palestinian immigrants. Her background includes roles as a Certified Legal Intern, Judicial Extern at the U.S. District Court in the Northern District of Ohio, and Law Clerk, where she worked on a variety of legal issues, including Social Security Disability benefits, insurance defense, constitutional violations, and habeas corpus cases.
In her personal time, Isra enjoys playing volleyball, cooking, baking, and exploring new cuisines. She also has experience as a volleyball coach and is dedicated to mentoring young individuals, helping them navigate their paths to careers in law.
