Holly Perzynski is a research and writing associate at KJK, where she supports attorneys across the firm with legal research, drafting and strategic analysis on client matters in a range of practice areas.
Holly joined KJK from Shaker Heights Municipal Court, where she served as a law clerk and wrote more than 100 magistrate’s decisions, orders and legal memoranda involving landlord-tenant disputes, breach of contract, subrogation, conflict of laws and default judgments. As a certified legal intern in the Health Law Clinic at Case Western Reserve University’s Milton and Charlotte Kramer Law Clinic, she handled client intake and drafted memoranda, briefs, wills, and powers of attorney for clients contesting Social Security and Medicaid determinations.
During law school, Holly served as registrar and then deputy executive director of the Yemen Accountability Project and interned with the Global Accountability Network, researching international humanitarian and human rights law. She also volunteered with the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland’s Right to Counsel Program, screening tenants facing eviction for program eligibility.
Holly earned her Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, cum laude, and her bachelor’s degree in political science, summa cum laude, from Kent State University.
