OVERVIEW & EXPERIENCE
Antonio (Tony) Dempsey is a skilled and well-rounded attorney who assists across a variety of KJK’s practice groups. With an extensive background in technology, he offers a unique and valuable skillset to the firm.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Science and Engineering degree in materials science and engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering-physics from John Carroll University, where he graduated cum laude. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law, graduating cum laude. During his time at Akron Law, Tony served as the captain of the Giles Sutherland Rich Moot Court Team and the captain of the inaugural United States Patent Office Patent Drafting Competition Team. Additionally, he served as a treasurer and class representative for the Akron Law Federalist Society and a class representative for the Akron Intellectual Property Student Association.
Tony is an engaged member of his community, serving as an organizational advisor with youth development program Medina County 4-H, where he volunteers his time to help provide growth, learning, and leadership opportunities to local youth. Additionally, as president of the Medina County Aquarium Society, Tony promotes the aquarium hobby through education, socialization, and distribution of aquarium life.
Outside of work, Tony is an avid aquarist – much to the pleasure of his cat, Marmalade. He also enjoys woodworking, golf, lawn care, and 3-D printing.
