OVERVIEW & EXPERIENCE
Anna Mester is an Associate in KJK’s Litigation & Arbitration practice group, where she represents businesses and individuals in a range of commercial disputes. Her practice includes legal research and analysis, discovery, motion practice and other aspects of developing and advancing litigation strategy.
Anna first joined KJK as a summer associate while attending law school and returned to the firm’s Columbus office as an associate following graduation. During law school, she also clerked at a Columbus commercial law firm, where she gained experience across a range of legal matters, with a focus on business law and commercial litigation. Her work included drafting legal memoranda, agreements and court filings, as well as researching evolving business regulations and their practical implications. Earlier, she served as a page in the Ohio Senate, assisting a senator’s office with legislative research and supporting day-to-day Senate proceedings.
Anna earned her Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she served as a Staff Editor and Online Editor of the Ohio State Law Journal, competed as a member of the Moot Court travel team, and was a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Association. She also earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology, summa cum laude, from The Ohio State University, where she minored in Legal Foundations of Society and was a member of the Law and Society Scholars Program.
