Max Schubert is an Associate at KJK, where he supports clients and attorneys through legal research, analysis, drafting, and strategic problem-solving across a variety of business matters.
Max brings a strong foundation in legal writing and advocacy to his practice. Prior to joining KJK, he worked as an Associate Attorney and law clerk in private practice, conducting legal research, drafting memoranda and client-facing documents, and assisting with litigation strategy and case preparation. His experience spans a broad range of legal issues, providing him with a versatile analytical skill set and practical understanding of client needs.
While earning his Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School, Max completed a judicial externship with Justice Jennifer Brunner of the Supreme Court of Ohio, where he reviewed cases before the Court and prepared bench memoranda analyzing complex legal questions. He also served in Capital University’s General Litigation Clinic and participated extensively in Moot Court, developing the research, writing, and advocacy skills that continue to inform his work today.
Max graduated summa cum laude from Capital University Law School and was recognized as a member of the Order of the Barristers, an honor awarded to students who demonstrate excellence in oral advocacy and brief writing. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, summa cum laude, from Bowling Green State University.
