Overview

Vivian brings extensive experience to the Student & Athlete Defense team, having worked in education for more than 35 years. She is regularly called upon by teachers, special education leaders, therapists, behavioral consultants and school administrators to assist in professional development and establishing effective intervention programs according to state and federal grant regulations. Vivian also has experience facilitating federal grants, and advocates for parents in both public school and non-public school settings.

Vivian began her career as a special education intervention specialist at Wickliffe Middle School while also working as a professional development seminar instructor within local school systems and learning centers – something she continues to this day. Additionally, Vivian teaches special needs and classroom discipline courses as a member of the adjunct faculty at both Cleveland’s Yavne Teacher’s College and Notre Dame College.

Vivian holds a bachelor’s degree in English and education from Notre Dame College of Ohio, and a master’s in education and learning disabilities from John Carroll University. She is certified in English, Hebrew and learning behavior disabilities.
